This problem occurred exactly when:

I played a mission, during my mission I pressed Esc, there would be a menu like keyboard control and volume control, I put the sound(not music) or both music and sound to 100, then I made a collision with an enemy ship(no need to fire at it). After I my plane had crashed the camera turned back to the carrier with a new plane, this time when I started the engine(my plane's engine) or took off and fired my weapon, i couldn't hear anything except the music.

New problem:

-Whenever I patched my wofconf.dat with the one from the patch, if I changed the "sound system" from the Option, it gave me an error, but when I exited to Windows and ran the game again, the change had been done. Can't reproduce that bug. Please give as much details as possible (which sound gets stuck - enemy/player engine?). Were you firing when collided with the ship?

This is normal. You have deleted some of the game files so the installer puts the default one in place (automatic repair). 3.0 to 3.1 patch is ready for download. It fixes some of the bugs found in 3.0 (thanks for Q&A jakeslogan).
Fixes:
- Music stuttering bug fixed
- "And whenever I spin my airplane, I have to wait some second for the Pitching control to reverse." -> fixed (if you prefer the old way just change line 8 of wofconf.dat file to "True")
- "Load game" screen now displays icons of further levels properly
- New sounds
- Spin animation is more realistic
- "Whenever I collided with the enemy plane, I heard the sound of the gun fire repeated until I quit to Windows." -> fixed
- Enemy airplanes can no longer be hit if I fire my gun to the ground below them


New feature:
- when you run out of oil you can still try to start the engine and begin emergency landing on the carrier

Installation instructions:
- unpack to the game installation directory overwriting any files.
- some of your settings may need to be set again

About the problem number 6, it usually happens if I try to land at the altitude that a bit higher than the carrier.

6/Once I encountered the old problem when I tried to land on the carrier, that's the problem have been mentioned before(kind of airplane rolling on the carrier).

Should you ever encounter a problem with music (stuttering, no music) please do the following:

- open wofconf.dat file located in bin\Release directory of WOF2.
- change the line 14 of the file from "True" to "False". This will disable music streaming.

- Minimum system requirements have not changed - or at least I hope so ;) You need to run the game using Administrator privileges and (in some cases) under XP compatibility mode.

This is the basic installer release (55MB), which means that it will download and install all prerequisites for you (keep in mind that you still need internet connection to do so;).
Also you'll need some reasonable version of "Windows Installer" to run it - don't worry thought, Win XP sp3 or better will handle it without any problems.
