Hi, everyone !
As I've seen, many users get some kind of error-message, but I haven't come across one yet, that was similar to mine (attached to this posting).
some machine-specs:
ATI, Radeon 9600
AMD Athlon 2,4 GHz
Asus, A7N8X Deluxe
1 Gb RAM
WinXP Pro, SP2 (Is there a SP3 out?)
Newest drivers for all Hardware just installed !
Who has any idea ?

Unfortunatelly I do not speak German. Could you translate the message for me?
You seem to have some problems with your sound card. To disable sound please open "wofconf.dat" file with notepad and change third line to "FSL_SS_NOSYSTEM", then start the game again. -

I did as you mentioned and - voilá - the game starts and I can play..., and I even have sound !!!??? How can this be ? (I turned on the Nvidia sound-module in the 'options-menu')
I assume that all I'm missing now are the intro-sounds.
So, finally I can have a closer look at this classic gem, thank you a thousand times for your quick response and competent advice !!!
