1. Controls are very unresponsive at times, after completing a turn there is a delay before I can climb or dive. This has gotten me into trouble several times coliding with an enemy plane. Also after completing a turn there is a delay before i can begin bombing. Also seems not to respond to requests to retract the landing gear unless the plane is level. Maybe that last one was intended.
2. Controls are unresponsive and then too responsive, when performing a dive it seems I have to hold down key for a long time just to get the plane to dive then once at a certain angle the plane dives down at 90 degrees and crashes into the ground quickly.
1. This is partly a technical issue. Animation on a single node must be finished, before the next one can commence. We will try to find a solution. The delay of angle momentum[suspension]is inteded. It is proportional to level of difficulty. However we consider removing this effect for "easy" difficulty.
We will investigate the case with bombing delay.
The gear can be retracted if only the plane relative angle to horintozal level is less than 30 degrees [PI/6 rad].
2.I suspect it's not a case with the keys blocking. Imho you are slightly annoyed by my physics. This is intended behaviour. We wanted to put some realism into the game. The plane is not as light as a feather (inertia). This effect varies throughout the diff. levels. Basically you have to plan the move in advance because the plane is affected by angular delay and gravity[or sort of it;-)]
It would be really helpful if you would made a drawing with the plane trajectory you are experiencing and the one you would expect. [Just simple lines in 2 colors].
